Support Worker – Team Leader (Ballarat)

We focus on providing the right person, on time, every time so that our clients can rely on us to achieve their goals.The Role:We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to oversee and manage the programs of several complex 24/7 clients in the Ballarat region. In addition to providing support to our clients with complex behaviours you will also be required to lead and motivate a team and ensure the delivery of support is exceptional.Support Worker Profile:To be considered for this position you must have:Previous experience in a Leadership role in the Youth Welfare sector.Minimum requirements for this role include:Previous experience in a similar role preferably as a Team LeaderHigh level communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to mentor and lead a teamA clear and current police check obtained within the last six monthsA current First aid – Within 3 yearsCPR certificate – Within 12 monthsA current Working With Children Check (Victorian)An international police check (where applicable)A current drivers licenceAbility to engage and build rapport with clientsCertificate IV in Child Youth and Family Intervention or relevant top up modules(or be  prepared to obtain it) AUD Australia - VIC Ballarat & Central Highlands Ballarat
