Always Relentless Optimism  About the RoleWould you like the opportunity to stay connected with the community or gain work experience, learn new skills and grow your professional networks?CareChoice has a fantastic opportunity for a Volunteer Quality Advocate to join the team!Reporting to our Customer Experience Manager, the primary objective of the Volunteer Quality Advocate is to safeguard the rights and wellbeing of CareChoice Clients.This will be achieved by visiting eligible client’s homes as directed and agreed with the Customer Experience Manager (announced or unannounced), to observe and report on the quality of the services and support provided by CareChoice.Please note this is a voluntary role and it’s ideally suited for individuals who are able to visit sites Monday to Friday during business hours. A day in the life as a Volunteer Quality Advocate with CareChoice, may see you complete some of the following tasks:Visit CareChoice Clients and complete written reports using the CareChoice Homes of Excellence Quality Assessment Form. Visits should be unannounced where possibleObserve and report on the adequacy of the services provided by CareChoiceWhere possible, communicate with clients to ensure they are being treated with dignity and respectWhere possible, communicate with CareChoice Support Staff to ensure they are supported, engaged and trainedComplete a questionnaire during and/or at the conclusion of the visit detailing any issues of concern, as well as good practice observedRefer any issues to the Customer Experience Manager for resolutionAttend any mandatory training identifiedAttend regular meetings with the CareChoice Customer Experience Manager or other CareChoice Staff where applicable  About YouAs a Volunteer Quality Advocate, you will have strong attention to detail and have the ability to remain objective.
